Axact gave itself fake awards

ISLAMABAD: It has been found that Axact was itself awarding different prestigious international awards to itself without the knowledge of the authorities and bodies who award these prizes. A study has proved that just like its fake degrees, all the international awards Axact website claim to win were also fake and were never awarded to it.
Without going into details and facts about Axact international fraud scandal, some ‘Plato’s’ and ‘Aristotle’s’ are delivering lectures on journalism to Pakistanis and telling them that media is overplaying this scam and that it is ethically wrong as Axact has announced to launch a news channel. On the other hand, probe into Axact matters has been revealing more and more startling facts with every passing hour and it seems that launch of channel was only meant to blackmail officials in order to safeguard and continue with this illegal business and international level fraud by deceiving people from more than a hundred countries.
Axact used to reward itself on its own. It awarded itself with many prestigious international awards and even posted their details on its website. Bad luck for Axact that it removed images of these international awards from website right after international fake degrees scam was unearthed by NYT which created serious doubts. Whole website was already saved along with all changes in it. After removal of details of these awards, facts about these awards were investigated and it was revealed that even all awards were fake and were never awarded by concerned international reputed bodies.
Axact claimed that it got a Green Business Award in 2010; however, after checking and verifying it through sources, it was found out that it got no such award.Axact also claimed that it was rewarded with European Excellence Award in the same year which was also found out to be fake when checked from relevant record.
Furthermore, Axact claimed that it was rewarded with APP Award in 2011. This claim also turned out to be fake as their name was not present in the list of APP awards. Screenshots etc of Axact website are saved.
Our Monitoring Desk adds: When the search was made, there was no name of Axact among the list of popular awards. The Axact claimed that it had got OPP Award for Excellence in 2011 but it was proved wrong when checked.
The Axact claimed that it had got Green Business Award in 2010 but when checked it was also proved incorrect. The Axact claimed that it had achieved European Excellency Award but when checked it was also proved bogus.
