‘Cleanliness to be improved with cooperation of RWMC’
Rawalpindi: Member of Punjab Assembly, PP-4 Attock, Chaudhry Sher Ali, met with the CEO of Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC), Rana Sajid Safdar, at the RWMC head office, says a press release.
During the meeting, Chaudhry Sher Ali discussed the ‘Clean Punjab Programme’ in detail for his constituency and praised the services of RWMC in implementing this project. Chaudhry Sher Ali stated that, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a comprehensive strategy would be adopted to make areas including Attock, Fateh Jang, Jand, and Pindi Gheb, which are part of PP-4 Attock, clean and zero waste.
He expressed his commitment to improving cleanliness standards with the support of RWMC to provide the public with a clean and healthy environment. Rana Sajid Safdar provided Chaudhry Sher Ali with a detailed briefing on RWMC’s ongoing and upcoming projects. The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue mutual cooperation to ensure the success of the Clean Punjab Programme and to launch an awareness campaign to educate the public on the importance of cleanliness, aiming to bring about a positive societal change.
