Free medical camp in Khipro
LAHORE: A free medical camp was set up in Taluka Khipro district Sanghar under the collaboration of Marvi Rural Development Organization (MRDO), Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund-(PPAF) and Transparent Hands under “Restoring Social Services and Climate Resilience.”
The Transparent Hands provided qualified doctors and medical professionals, volunteering their expertise, examining patients, offering diagnosis and treatment and medicines without charge. CEO, MRDO Sughra Solangi said, the camps prevent loss of life and educate the communities about healthy lifestyles, symptoms of common diseases and ways to avoid them. The rural areas of district Sanghar, Solangi said do not have access to proper medical care. The MRDO will organize similar camps in different areas of District Sanghar, she said.
Salman Ali, Manager of Programmes said vulnerable communities in the area face shortage of medical facilities. MRDO, PPAF and Transparent Hands aim to bridge this gap by organizing such medical camps and provide life-saving healthcare, medicines, diagnostic tests, and health awareness to those in urgent need.
