Two killed in Hazara accident
MANSEHRA: Two people were killed and seven others sustained critical injuries when a speeding car and wagon collided head-on at the Hazara Expressway’s Ichrian Interchange here.
“We have shifted all nine injured to a health facility where two of them succumbed to injuries,” Sami Khan, an official of Rescue 1122 told reporters on Tuesday.The wagon, which was on its way to Mansehra from Battagram went out of control of its driver late Monday and collided head-on with a car as a result of which nine people including three women sustained critical injuries.
Rescue 1122 personnel rushed the injured to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital through their ambulances where doctors pronounced Imamul Haq and Haq Nawaz dead.Tanveer Ahmad, Zakia Bibi, Fatima Bibi, Sania Bibi, Samiullah, Mohammad Jamshad and another one were referred to Ayub Medical Complex Hospital Abbottabad where the condition of three of them was stated to be critical.The rescuers told reporters that both vehicles were speeding and the road was blocked to traffic for some time after the incident.
