120 PTI workers indicted in May 9 riots
Court grants exemption from appearance to key PTI figures, including Omar Ayub, Shibli and Zartaj

FAISALABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has indicted PTI 120 workers, including leaders and workers, in cases related to the May 9 riots. Those indicted include MPAs Sheikh Shahid Javed, Ismail Sela, former minister Ashraf Sohna, and Sheikh Rashid Shafiq. During the hearing, the court granted exemption from appearance to key PTI figures, including Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, Zartaj Gul, and Kanwal Shauzab. However, the present accused were formally charged. The court has summoned those granted exemptions to appear again on December 18, 2024.
