LAHORE:Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial has said that best sports infrastructure is being built in remote areas of Punjab province; he said this while presiding over an important meeting of Departmental Development Sub-Committee at the Punjab Stadium.
DG Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab KhizarAfzaal Chaudhry, Additional Secretary Sports Mian Usman Ali, Director Admin Dr M Kaleem, Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza, officers from Finance and P&D Departments also attended the key meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that new pavilion and boundary wall will be constructed and floodlights will be installed in Haveli Lakha Sports Stadium. “Sports stadiums will also be expanded and renovated in MandiAhmadyar and Baseerpur,” he elaborated.
He further said that a soft and green multiple sports ground will be built in Jhang. “A multi-purpose sports ground will also be constructed in Muzaffargarh,” he added. He directed the officers concerned that all the sports grounds in the province should have the best leveling. “Punjab Sports Department will continue to take all possible measures for the growth of sports culture in Punjab,” he added.
