QUETTA: The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced that re-polling in seven polling stations of the PB-36 Kalat constituency for the Balochistan Assembly will be held on December 1, 2024.
Initially postponed due to security concerns, the re-polling was mandated by the Balochistan High Court’s Election Tribunal.
The tribunal ordered a re-poll in response to a petition by JUI’s candidate Sardarzada Mir Saeed Lango, who challenged the victory of BAP’s Mir Ziaullah Lango in PB-36.
