In many districts including Rawalpindi, there is no smog problem to close schools
Rawalpindi: Pakistan Chamber of Education has condemned the closure of educational institutions by the Punjab government in the pretext of prevailing smog.
There is no reason to close educational institutions, in the districts in which there is no smog. The authority of emergency holidays should be given to every district education authority, says a press release.
In many districts including Rawalpindi, there is no smog problem to close schools. These views were expressed by the member of the advisory council, Chaudhry Muhammad Tayyab. Pakistan Chamber of Education President Muhammad Asif said in a statement regarding the holidays given in schools by the Punjab government.
The leaders of the Pakistan Chamber of Education said that the Punjab government should consult the stakeholders before closing the schools.
