QUETTA: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rescheduled elections in two constituencies of the Balochistan Assembly -- PB-8 Sibi and PB-44 Quetta — due to security concerns, following a request from the Balochistan government.
On Tuesday, the ECP announced that the by-election for constituency PB-8 Sibi, originally scheduled for November 14, will now take place on November 17. Additionally, elections for 16 polling stations in constituency PB-44 Quetta, initially set for November 21, have been moved to December 12.
