PESHAWAR: Lists of more official and case property vehicles given to unauthorized people and former employees of the Excise and other departments have been prepared before launching a crackdown, sources said on Wednesday.
They said that the government had directed the officials concerned to withdraw official and case property vehicles from all the former officers, employees, their families and other irrelevant people.
Hundreds of such vehicles were being misused by the officials of the Excise and other departments. Many senior and junior former officers of the Excise and Taxation Department were given official and case property vehicles while misusing the authority by the staff concerned.
