Suleman, Nusratullah leading batter and bowler of Quaid Trophy second round
LAHORE: Mohammad Suleman and Nusratullah are the standout batter and bowler, respectively, at the end of the second round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
Islamabad region with 50 points are leading group A while leaders of group B and C are Rawalpindi Region with 38 points and Sialkot Region with 45 points. Mohammad Suleman is the leading scorer with 288 runs and is followed by Waqar Ahmed (287), Umar Amin (282), Iftikhar Ahmed (255) and Mohsin Riaz (246).
Nusratullah and Ahmed Bashir are the leading wicket-taker with 15 wickets each. Bilawal Bhatti has taken 14, while Mohammad Salman and Khurram Shahzad have 13 each. Afzal Manzoor is at the top with 13 dismissals as wicket-keeper and is closely followed by Junaid Ali (9), Saifullah Bangash (9). As par the points table, Islamabad is followed by Hyderabad in group A, Peshawar is at second place in group B and Fata is a step down Sialkot in group C.
