Business team reaches Tatarstan
KARACHI: A delegation of businessmen, headed by SM Muneer, Chief Executive, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), has reached Republic of Tatarstan in their ongoing trip to Russian republics to explore trade opportunities.
The delegation met office bearers of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Republic of Tatarstan (CCIRT) on Thursday.
CCIRT Deputy Chairman Gerasimov Valerity said the chamber was working since the last 20 years, and for the first time, a delegation from Pakistan was visiting Tatarstan.
This region is among five leading chambers with 2,200 members representing all major sectors. The deputy chairman said there was huge potential of trade between Pakistan and Tatarstan. He said, “We are open for trade and economic ties and joint ventures.” He assured full cooperation for Pakistani businessmen. TDAP CE highlighted sectors being represented in the delegation. He said that Russia was the focused market for Pakistan.
