Actress Nargis assured of justice in assault case

LAHORE : In the case of alleged assault on actress Nargis, Hina Pervaiz Butt, Chairperson of the Punjab Women Protection Authority, met with Nargis to assure her of justice. Hina Pervaiz stated that a protection officer has been assigned to Nargis and that she would receive all necessary legal assistance. She emphasised that 'domestic violence against women is a serious criminal offence, and we will not compromise on this matter.'
