LAHORE : FBR Tajir Dost Scheme Chief Coordinator Naeem Mir has said that non-filing traders would confront innumerable difficulties in running their businesses after the expiry date for filing returns, which is October 31. He conveyed this message during a meeting with a business delegation on Wednesday.
The chief coordinator said that the trader community should not wait for extension in the date for filing returns and added that the traders must keep a distance from the directives of leaders who supported strikes and protests only. "Our priority is to think for the welfare and betterment of traders so that they could run their businesses in a smooth manner," he added.
Talking about the elimination of non-filer category, he stated that the said category would soon be erased from the working books and its removal would create such obstructions for traders that their businesses would be at the brink of utter collapse. He urged the non-filing traders for registering themselves with FBR as their security lies in becoming filer and filing their returns properly.
