Salman continues to rise in ICC rankings
LAHORE: Pakistan’s Salman Ali Agha’s continuous form with the bat has helped him enter the top 15 rankings for batters in Test cricket for the first time.
Salman played a crucial role with several important knocks in the recently concluded Test series against England to help his side earn their first Test series win at home in over three years.
He now sits 14th on the table after rising eight places.
Babar Azam continued his freefall after being left out of the final two matches against England. He dropped to 19th in the rankings.
Sajid Khan has made the biggest leap for bowlers in Test cricket after his spellbinding performances against England. The off-spinner climbed 22 spots to 50th while Noman Ali retained his 17th position. Aamer Jamal, after not bowling a single over in the third Test, slipped 7 places to the 56th spot.
