Karachi Blues, Islamabad triumphant in Quaid Trophy

LAHORE: Karachi Blues defeated Quetta by 9 wickets while Islamabad defeated Abbottabad by a huge margin of 326 runs on the third day of the first round matches of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy cricket tournament at different venues.
At the Rana Naveed Academy, Sheikhupura, Karachi Blues were given a target of 203 runs to win by Quetta which they achieved for the loss of just one wicket. Khawaja Muhammad Nafee scored 103 runs and Abdullah Fazal scored 82 runs and both were not out.
Scores in brief: Quetta first innings 147( Shahbaz Khan 47*, Tabish Khan 4/55) and second innings 115 (Kamran Khan 29, Aftab Khan 6/42). Karachi Blues first innings 60 (Najeebullah 6/13) and second innings 206 for one Khawaja Nafi 103*, Abdullah Fazal 82*).
