LGH four employees sacked over long absence
LAHORE:Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has sacked four employees for being continuously absent from official duties and neglecting their responsibilities.
These dismissed employees were found guilty of lacking interest in duties and remaining absent from duty. AMS Administration Dr Adnan Masood said that the dismissed employees were given opportunity of hearing before their dismissal, but they failed to give a satisfactory explanation. The inquiry committee recommended their dismissal. MS Dr Faryad Hussain said that there is no place in the LGH for employees, who do not serve the ailing humanity. He said the administration is continuously monitoring the attendance and performance of the employees in all three shifts. He instructed that the employees should observe discipline and treat the patients with respect and dignity. He stated that strict measures would be taken against absent employees. He instructed that sister in-charges and sanitary workers should monitor attendance and performance.
