11 die in road accidents in 24 hours
LAHORE:The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,395 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.
In these accidents, 11 people died, whereas 1,484 were injured. Out of these, 641 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 843 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
Five bodies found from different areas
Five bodies were recovered from various locations in Lahore on Wednesday. Abu Bakr, 18, lost consciousness when he was administered a wrong injection by a quack in the Panjgran area of Chuhng and died at Jinnah Hospital.
Body of a 65-year-old man was found from Kacha Jail Road in the Kot Lakhpat area.
A decomposed body of a 45-year-old man was recovered from a park near Muslim Town. Body of 30-year-old man was recovered from near Panj Pir Darbar in the Ghaziabad police jurisdiction. Police found body of a 25-year-old lying on the footpath of Ghazi Road in the Factory Area. The bodies were shifted to morgue.
