Pakistan fighting war on terror with valour, says Erdogan
Shahbaz opens Turkish-built hospital in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday saluted Pakistan for fighting the war on terror with courage, valour and determination and expressed optimism that it will soon emerge as a strong country in the region.
He expressed these views while addressing, through a video link, the inaugural ceremony of a state-of-the-art hospital constructed by the Turkish government here.The 100-bed Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (Tika) Hospital is a gift by the Turkish government to the flood-hit people of the area. Work on the project had started after the devastating floods in 2010.
The Turkish president said his country would always support Pakistan in development and provide all possible assistance in case of any disaster.Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said Turkey always stood by Pakistan both in times of war and peace. He said the Tika Hospital was one of the most modern healthcare facilities and the best model in Pakistan, where all the latest treatment facilities would be provided to the people.
“The hospital would have a team of highly-qualified doctors and specialists, including a team of Turkish doctors, for taking care of the patients,” he added.The chief minister said residential facilities would also be provided to doctors, nurses and other staff members.
