Arshad Aziz Malik, who has over three decades long experience in journalism, has made some very good investigations of corrupt practices in various sectors in the province, exposing financial scandals, mismanagement, and abuses of power.

Speaking at the book’s launch, Malik noted that the stories in KP Scams reflect years of painstaking research, interviews, and documentation. “This book is not just about individual scandals; it’s about the systemic corruption that has plagued Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for years. Each story is a piece of the larger puzzle, showing how corruption impacts public services, governance, and the daily lives of people,” Malik said.
With a collection of 144 stories, readers will find comprehensive coverage of various sectors including education, health, infrastructure development, and public funds, among others. The reporting in the book has uncovered funds embezzlement in government projects, fraudulent contracts, and questionable financial practices that have cost the province billions.
