‘Himmat Card programme to support people’

PAKPATTAN: The distribution of Himmat Card is going on in the Sahiwal Division’s Social Welfare Department .Under the programme, monthly stipend for disabled persons was being issued to 4,660 people across the division.

In this connection, special distribution ceremonies were held. In Pakpattan, MPA Ch Javed was the chief guest of the ceremony who inaugurated the Himmat Card distribution process. In Sahiwal, the function was held at the Old Age Home in which Member Provincial Assembly Naveed Aslam Khan was the chief guest.

Addressing the ceremonies, Ch Javed Ahmed and Naveed Aslam Khan said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was focusing on improving service delivery by bringing reforms in all spheres of life. They said that Himmat Card was a programme to support people in the society.

SECURITY INSPECTED: Sahiwal Regional Police Officer Mehboob Rasheed along with DPO Faisal Shahzad visited various Chinese residences in Sahiwal district to inspect the security arrangements.RPO Mehboob Rasheed and DPO Faisal Shahzad reviewed the security arrangements and issued necessary instructions for further improvement.
