Newborn’s body found

LAHORE:Body of a newborn was recovered from the rooftop of a private school near Shimla Pahari on Monday. Rescue-1122 staffers handed over the body to police to prober the incident.

Stolen motorcycle recovered

A patrolling officer of Lahore Traffic Police recovered a stolen motorcycle from a man on Wahdat Road on Monday. The traffic official signaled a motorcyclist to halt over violating a traffic regulation, but he abandoned the motorcycle and fled the scene. Later on, the vehicle’s records revealed it as a stolen one and it was promptly handed over to Iqbal Town police.

10 die on road in 24 hours

Around 10 people died, whereas 1,576 were injured in 1,429 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Out of these, 662 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 914 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
