Rain brings pleasant change to weather

LAHORE : Moderate rain brought pleasant change in city weather and provided relief to citizens in humid conditions here on Saturday while Met office predicted similar rainy weather conditions for the next 24 hours. The rain started early morning and continued till noon.

As soon as the rain started, Wasa MD Ghafran Ahmed came out in the field and started surprise visits of the monsoon emergency camps, ponding points of the city and disposal stations of Wasa. Saturday’s highest maximum temperature was recorded at Bahawalpur, Padidan and Dadu where mercury reached 41°C while in Lahore it was 31.5°C and minimum was 23.7°C.
