KARACHI: Unilever Pakistan has called for collective action as a means of enhancing the positive impact of social and economic development and climate change efforts across the country. A statement said on Friday the announcement was made at a round table conference, organised at a local hotel, as part of Unilever’s annual update on sustainability efforts in Pakistan.
“Unilever has also reduced the environmental impact of its operations, cutting CO2 emissions by 33 percent, water by 34 percent; and has also become a zero-waste-to-landfill organisation,” said the statement.
