MINGORA: The security forces on Thursday freed 98 reformed militants from an interment centre in Swat.
The reformed youth, mostly involved in petty crimes, were released from an interment centre established at the Pak-Austrian Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (PAITHAM) here.
Major General Asif Ghafoor said the reformed people had been imparted various skills to enable them to earn decent livelihood for their families. He hoped the freed people would play a constructive role in the development of the country.
On the occasion, the reformed youth sang national songs, presented tableaus and delivered speeches focusing on patriotism.
