ISLAMABAD: To strengthen the Balochistan Police the federal government has transferred 13 ASPs from Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan and handed over their services to Balochistan.
They will be posted in Balochistan for one year and the Establishment Division has directed all the provincial governments to immediately relieve them. Those selected by the Establishment Division to serve in Balochistan Police belong to the 47 PSP batch. Some of those BPS 17 officers include Rana Muhammad Dilawar, Atif Amir, Hussain Waris, Muhammad Usman from Sindh, Sardar Muhammad Shehryar Khan and Zeeshan Ali from Gilgit Baltistan. Similarly, Abdullah Ahsan, Khuram Mehsar, Rehmatullah, Owais Ali Khan, and Akhtar Nawaz have been transferred from Punjab. Also, the services of Usman Amin Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Shahzad Akbar have been transferred from Islamabad Police to the Balochistan Government. The Establishment Division has already issued a notification of these transfers and postings.
Meanwhile, according to an Establishment Division notification, Aftab Muhammad Khan, Joint Secretary, of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division immediately. Mohammad Wishaq, awaiting an appointment in the Establishment Division, has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Grade 20. Both the officers belong to the Secretariat Group.
