LANDIKOTAL: One labourer died while another was injured when a heap of mud fell over them in Landikotal on Tuesday, sources said.They said two labourers were working to dig out mud in Tatara locality in Landikotal when all of a sudden a big heap of mud fell on them, burying them alive.
The Khyber Rifles personnel from the Frontier Corps (North) along with machinery rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.The operation rescued one person alive while the other lost life under the heap of mud.Haris Afridi, a resident of Walikhel village in Landikotal died in the incident. Imdad was rescued in a critical condition and shifted to the hospital.
