Early submission of challans to courts ordered
LAHORE:The Inspector General Police (IGP), Punjab reviewed the progress on pending challans and completion of road certificates during a meeting held at the Central Police Office (CPO) on Tuesday.
Additional IG South Punjab, all RPOs, CPOs, and DPOs of the province attended the meeting via video link. Addressing the meeting, the IGP directed the cops to ensure the prompt submission of road certificates and challans in courts. He ordered strict action against investigation officers and SHOs for showing poor performance in completing road certificates and challans.
IGP congratulates SSP Riffat Bukhari
IGP Punjab congratulated SSP Riffat Bukhari for receiving the Excellence in Performance Award from the International Association of Women Police. Riffat Bukhari, who received the global award from the International Association of Women Police in the US City of Chicago, visited the Central Police Office, where IG also presented her with a commemorative shield on behalf of the police department.
