Cricketers undergo fitness tests in Faisalabad
LAHORE: Fitness tests for national cricketers were conducted on Saturday at the High Performance Center in Faisalabad, ahead of the upcoming Champions One-Day Cup.
Key players such as Shaheen Shah Afridi, Imam-ul-Haq, and Haris Rauf were among those who participated in the assessments.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesperson confirmed that the fitness tests for other prominent players, including Shan Masood and Babar Azam, will also be held soon.
These evaluations are part of a broader initiative to reassess the central contract list, with the fitness tests of 30 players scheduled in total.
The PCB's focus on fitness underscores the importance of maintaining peak physical condition as the players prepare for the highly anticipated Champions One-Day Cup, which is set to feature the country's top cricketing talent.
