ISLAMABAD: With the approval of chief election commissioner, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has constituted 36 teams to verify forms 45-49 uploaded on its website for the February 8 general elections.
As per the terms of reference mentioned in the office order issued, these teams shall verify that all Forms-45 and Forms-46 are uploaded as per final list of the polling stations.
Moreover, the teams shall also identify missing Form-45 and Form-46 and prepare details of missing Form-45 and Form-46 on the prescribed form to be provided by the Elections Wing, which will identify unreadable Forms.
The teams shall also verify that Form-47, 48 and 49 of all constituencies are uploaded and maximum seven days have been given to them to complete the task. There has been no reason given in the order, released on September 4, in relation to carrying out this exercise.
