PFF calls 26 players for SAFF U-17 event camp
LAHORE: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced a 26-player list for the national camp for the SAFF U-17 Men’s Championship 2024.
The camp will take place in Abbottabad from Thursday (today). The seven-nation championship will be held in Bhutan from September 20 to 30, with Pakistan placed in Group B alongside Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Group A consists of India, Maldives, and Bangladesh. Pakistan’s campaign will begin on September 21 against Nepal at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. They will then face the host team on September 23, followed by a clash with Sri Lanka on September 25, all at the same venue.
The coaching staff for the tournament will be led by head coach Sajjad Mehmood, with Hassan Baloch as assistant coach and Nouman Ibrahim taking on the role of goalkeeping coach. Camp trainees:
