Syrus Qazi appointed FPSC member
Qazi will assume his role as a member of the FPSC on Sep 11, 2024
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a member of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC).
Following the president’s approval, the Establishment Division has issued a notification confirming his appointment. Qazi will assume his role as a member of the FPSC on September 11, 2024, following his retirement, with a term of three years.
Additionally, as part of the federal government’s appointment and transfer of officers, Saeed Ahmed, a lecturer in Political Science with the College Education Department, Sindh government, has been transferred on deputation to the Benazir Income Support Programme for a three-year term.
Section Officer Khuram Hameed Pracha, Overseas Pakistanis Division, has been transferred on deputation to the presidency for a three-year term. Meanwhile, Section Officer Mubeen Ahmed has been transferred from the National Food Security Division to the Narcotics Control Division.
The Establishment Division has issued official notifications for these appointments and transfers.
