Woman found dead

LAHORE

A 60-year-old unidentified woman was found dead in the Islampura police limits on Monday.

A passerby informed police about a woman lying unconscious. Police reached the incident place on information, shifted the victim to hospital where the doctors pronounced her dead.Police told that the victim looked like a drug-addict and might have died due to excessive use of drugs. Police removed the body to morgue.

FIRE: Valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were burnt in an incident of fire in the Civil Lines police limits on Monday.Rescue officials said that fire broke out in a wood godown of Muhammad Khalid on Davis Road. Residents and owner of the godown tried to control fire but of no use.
