Teenage girl ends life

A teenage girl reportedly took her own life at her residence in Model Colony police limits on Monday. 

Isra, 17, daughter of Manzoor Ahmed, after an exchange of hot words with her parents locked herself in a room of her Malir residence and hanged herself from a ceiling fan.

After a few hours her mother called her for some work and knocked the door, but didn’t receive any answer. Upon breaking the door, the parents saw the hanged body and informed the police right away. The body was then shifted by the police to Jinnah Post Medical Centre (JPMC) for legalities. According to the police, the deceased was an intermediate student and had taken the extreme step over some domestic issues.
