Mystery of blind murder resolved

NOWSHERA: The police claimed to have resolved the mystery of a blind murder case and arrested the accused involved in the murder of his own brother in Dag Ismailkhel in Nowshera.

One Ubaidullah, an Afghan national and resident of Dag Ismailkhel had told the Jalozai police that he was present at his house when he heard gunshots outside his home.He said that he came out of his home and saw his brother Nazir Khan lying in a pool of blood. He registered the report that unidentified accused had shot dead his brother and had fled the scene after committing the crime.

The police registered a case and started an investigation.The police constituted a special team, which successfully worked out the case.The police claimed that one Raees, the brother of slain Nazir, was involved in his murder.

During preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to have shot dead his brother over some domestic issue. The police also recovered the weapon used in the crime.Meanwhile, the police arrested an accused involved in the murder of a man, a resident of Yaqoob Garhi in Jalozai.

Shahida Bibi, wife of Dildar Khan and a resident of Yaqoob Garhi in Jalozai reported to the police that she along with her husband was coming to their home when Javed Khan and Jan Muhammad opened fire on them.

She said that her husband sustained multiple bullet injuries and was killed on the spot.After registering the case, the police arrested Javed along with the weapon used in the crime.
