The Office of the Accountant General Sindh marked Pakistan’s Independence Day with a patriotic flag-hoisting ceremony, coupled with a tree plantation drive.
The event was graced with his presence by Mahmood Amir, accountant general Sindh, who hoisted the national flag. The ceremony was attended by Director General Nasira Parveen, Additional Accountants General Mohsin Ali Soomro and Kamran Mughal, deputy accountants general Mansoor Amir Siyal, Ghulam Mustafa Abro, Fida Hussain Tanwari, Hina Syed, and other distinguished officials from the office.
Following the flag hoisting, saplings were planted by the participants as a symbolic gesture of growth and commitment to the nation’s prosperity. In his address, the accountant general highlighted the significance of Independence Day, paying homage to the countless sacrifices made by our forefathers in the pursuit of freedom. He reiterated the unwavering commitment of the civil servants within the Accountant General’s Office to uphold the vision of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Mahmood Amir emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles laid down by the Quaid-e-Azam, assuring that the office would continue to play its role in the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
The event served as a reminder of the responsibilities that come with independence and called on all present to contribute actively to the nation’s progress. The ceremony concluded with a prayer for the prosperity of Pakistan.
