Masjid-e-Nabawi Imam gets warn welcome at Governor’s House
LAHORE:Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan accorded a warm welcome to the Imam of Masjid-e-Nabawi, Honourable Dr Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair, here on Monday at Governor's House.
Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed al-Maliki was also present. Speaking on this occasion, Governor Saleem Haider said his presence is a matter of joy and honour for him.
He said Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoy longstanding fraternal relations. He said that Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan in difficult times.
Imam of Masjid-e-Nabawi, Dr Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair, also led Zuhr prayer in Jamia Masjid. A large number of Governor House staff and public offered prayer led by the Imam, who also offered a special prayer for prosperity, peace and unity of Muslim Ummah.
The distinguished guest also visited the Governor House. Saleem Haider Khan informed the Imam about the historical importance of the Governor House.
