‘Private practice of doctors not banned’

LAHORE: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir said in an important and explanatory statement that the Health Department has not banned the private practice of any doctor.
The health department has instructed the heads of all hospitals to conduct private practice in the evening hours even in government hospitals for the convenience of patients. Patients coming to government hospitals will get the best facility during evening hours during private practice of doctors.
The health department has decided to allow private practice in government hospitals for the betterment of the health system. The private practice of doctors in PIC, Lahore and RIC during evening hours is successfully going on.
