ISLAMABAD: The Yaum-e-Istehsal on August 5 (Monday) will be observed in Pakistan as a special day against the Indian government’s illegal action of repealing the special status of Jammu and Kashmir in 2019 and strong support of the right to freedom of Kashmiris.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday chaired the meeting which decided to hold an event to be jointly attended by the Pakistani and Kashmiri leadership. He is also likely to visit Muzaffarabad on August 5 to express solidarity with Kashmiris. There will be a special walk and special ceremonies will be held in Islamabad, provincial capitals, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
