PESHAWAR: The Special Anti-Terrorism Court on Wednesday sent the main accused on 14-day judicial remand in the murder case of eight persons in Badaber area in the provincial capital.
The investigation officer produced the accused Yar Rahman in the Special Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Usman Bashir.He informed the court that the police had arrested the accused, who had been nominated in the killing of eight family members on June 25 last.
After the arguments, the court sent the accused to the judicial magistrate for recording confessional statement. However, he denied the allegations and subsequently he was sent on 14-day judicial remand.
According to police, the accused had forced their entry into the house and had shot dead eight family members - four women and four children - and two injured in Balukhel area in the limits of Badber Police Station on June 25 last.
