LGH doctors remove key from infant’s stomach

LAHORE:The doctors of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) have saved the life of a five-month-old infant by showing their professional skills.
A team led by Associate Professor Paediatrics and Gastroenterology Dr Hassan set a high example of humanity to remove key from the stomach of the child through an endoscopy procedure. Assistant Professor Paediatrics and Gastroenterology Dr Houria Rehman also assisted the procedure. Child Ayan Khan was transferred from Sargodha to LGH in critical condition while some hospitals refused to take this case. Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and Lahore General Hospital Prof Dr Muhammad Al-Fareed Zafar appreciated the entire team for providing timely medical assistance to the child.
