LAHORE: The Hashoo School of Hospitality Management (HSHM) has partnered with the Multan University of Science and Technology (MUST) to offer premium hospitality education in southern Punjab.

According to the agreement, the collaboration will provide young people in Multan and southern Punjab with access to a two-year international associate degree programme in hospitality, featuring hands-on training, internships, and guaranteed job placement.

Executive Director of Pearl-Continental Hotel, Lahore and Education Division, Hashoo Group Haseeb A Gardezi said that the group will facilitate premium hospitality education across Pakistan. The group is empowering the youth with successful practical learning experiences at the campuses in other major cities of Pakistan.

Pakistan is one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in the world, attracting both local and international visitors due to its unparalleled natural beauty, cultural heritage, and warm hospitality. Several international and local hospitality chains are increasing their investments in Pakistan, with ample support from government entities as well. The country’s hospitality and tourism revenue are expected to grow significantly in the coming years, Gardezi observed.

Chairperson of the Board of Governors at MUST Dr Muhammad Arshad observed that the country’s hospitality and tourism industry is booming. The university is offering top-tier education in the sector in collaboration with the HSHM.

This partnership underscores the commitment of both organizations to empower Pakistani youth with enhanced education and training, promoting economic development on both individual and national levels, he added.
