PU marks anti-terror day

Our forefathers have made countless sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan and it is our responsibility to protect it, said MPA Muhammad Arif Khan.
He was addressing a ceremony organised by Punjab University College of Earth and Environmental Sciences in connection with International Anti Terrorism Day & National Day for Cultural Development on Thursday.
According to a press release, on this occasion SSP Operations Counter Terrorism Department Punjab Rai Ejaz Ahmed, DSP CIA Lahore Umer Farooq, Principal CEES Prof Dr Sajid Rashid Ahamd, faculty members and a large number of students were present. Rai Ejaz Ahmed said every citizen must realise his responsibilities for bringing change in society and we must learn lesson from the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Omer Farooq Baloch said we all were on same page in our fight against terrorism. Prof Dr Sajid Rashid said that the purpose of this function was to pay tribute to the martyrs and give message to the terrorist elements that there was no future of terrorism in Pakistan.
