Three cops injured in Tirah IED blast

TIRAH: Three cops sustained injuries when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in Serey Kandao area in the Tirah Valley of the Khyber tribal district on Monday, official sources said.
It was learnt that three cops, including the Serey Kandao checkpost in-charge Khushal Amin and two others, were going to the Peer Mila area when the car they were travelling in hit the roadside IED. As a result of the blast, the car plunged into a ravine.Soon after the incident, local people and police shifted the injured cops to a hospital.
