MINGORA: The activists and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Youth Wing, on Monday staged a rally and demanded the government to release PTI founder Imran Khan and provide protection to the party leaders.

Addressing the rally, PTI Youth Wing divisional general secretary Rahat Farooq, Sajid Khan, Shakil Khan and others said that keeping Imran Khan behind bars was tantamount to depriving Pakistan of development and prosperity.

They said that injustice was being meted out to the PTI leaders, including Imran Khan, Murad Saeed and others, as they had raised voice for the rights of people and peace in the country. The speakers said that Murad Saeed was a torch-bearer of peace but he was forced by certain elements to disappear from the scene. They threatened to launch a protest movement if their demands were not met forthwith.
