Private schools asked not to hold summer camps
Rawalpindi
No private school would organise summer camp for the students during the summer vacations without taking prior approval from the education department.
A circular issued by the Education Department
Punjab stated all the private schools would take prior
approval from the education department to organise
summer camps for the students.
It further stated the private schools would not be allowed to demand advance fee from the students before the summer vacations as it increases financial burden on the parents.
Rashida Shoaib, a resident of Rawalpindi, said the
summer camps should be organised for terminal examination class students only
and it would be wrong
if private schools organise summer camps for
students of Class-I to IV, VI and VII.
