Suspect arrested for harassing girl
LAHORE:Safe City Virtual Women Police Station apprehended a suspect near Data Darbar who was harassing a girl on a bus. A woman filed a harassment complaint through the Virtual Women Police Station. The woman provided the location of the bus to the Virtual Women Police Station. Safe City tracked the bus through cameras and dispatched the police to the next stop. Upon reaching the bus stop, the suspect was arrested upon the woman's identification.
Inquiry into torture case ordered
SP Dolphin Squad has ordered an inquiry into an incident in which Dolphin Squad officials allegedly tortured protesting workers of a pharmacy. Dolphin Squad officials allegedly tortured the protesting employees in Gulshan-e-Ravi. They were protesting against the pharmacy for not giving them salary. Manager of the medicine store called police who tortured the protesters for allegedly misbehaving with the cops.
