Hamza second seed in WSF World Junior Squash Championships

KARACHI: World Junior Squash Champion Hamza Khan is second seed in the WSF World Junior Squash Championships that is to be held in Houston, USA, from July 12-23.
The draws and seedings have been announced for the 2024 edition of the world championship and the 2023 runner up Mohamad Zakaria is the top seed. Pakistan has fielded five players in this year’s championship. According to the draws, Hamza, Abdullah Nawaz, M Ammad, Huzaifa Ibrahim, and Anas Ali Shah have got byes in the first round.
In the second round, Abdullah Nawaz will face Japan’s Ren Makino, M Ammad will be up against India’s Shaurya Bawa, Huzaifa Ibrahim is drawn against Mohryan Baksh, Anas Ali Shah will be playing against South Africa’s Luhann Groenewald in the second round.
