A Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) funded five-day training workshop for University of Gujrat (UoG) faculty members started here at UoG’s Hafiz Hayat Campus on Monday. The workshop is aimed at providing an opportunity to teachers from various UoG departments to hone their skills by introducing them most modern methods of teaching.“Higher education institutions are a symbol of a country’s industrial, cultural and social development. They also reflect how economically strong a country is. We must focus on our younger generation to achieve our long-term national development goals,” Tahir Mahmood Chaudhry, Consultant to UoG Vice Chancellor, said in his address at the opening ceremony of the workshop.
