PM to focus on three major points in his address to NA

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will shed light on three major points in his speech in the National Assembly while his team is prepared for a befitting reply to the PTI if it adopts aggressive stance against the treasury benches.

The News has exclusively obtained major points of the prime minister's speech in NA and the PML-N's strategy in the ongoing session which will resume today (Monday). According to details shared by top sources close to the PM, the party and the federal are fully prepared to participate in the session.

The prime minister will announce in his speech that all investigation on PanamaLeaks will be held with consultation and anyone's dictation will not be accepted in this regard. The premier while referring his children’s offshore companies will reiterate his stance to probe them and if his link was established then he will be accountable. Nawaz Sharif will apprise the House that the PML-N is the only political party in the Parliament which has none of its lawmakers, ministers and even leadership involved in offshore companies.

 sources said the PM will remind the House that the PTI's six and other parties' members and leadership are involved in offshore companies and even their leadership are involved in this regard.

About party strategy in the NA, the sources said that if opposition adopts aggressivestrategy against treasury benches then the PML-N lawmakers will ask three questions, particularly from the PTI leader Imran Khan. The legal team has drafted points how to counter the PTI in NA.

Imran Khan would be asked question as he admitted that he had purchased flat in 1983 by the money which he earned while playing his county cricket. However, facts reveal that Imran Khan since 1976 to 1983 never played county cricket. The PTI chief would be asked to disclose source of his income with which he had purchased his flat. Imran Khan's bank transactions, trail, and even his claim of transfer of funds from UK to Pakistan would be asked.

The sources said that Imran Khan would not be able to justify his offshore company. The sources said that the PM at the end of his speech would invite all opposition parties to sit with the government to resolve the issue.
